Holiday Auction: Wrapping up Makers Market and Silent Auction into One Present

  • We are offering an exciting new concept for the traditional Silent Auction this year. The aim is to refresh the auction by updating its offerings. The focus is on Makers Market items, Edibles, Consumables and Experiences.
  • Acceptable items for this auction include:
    • Makers Market Hand-crafted items. Contact Christine Marks
    • Edibles such as baked goods, preserves. Contact Christine Marks
    • Consumables consisting of event/movie tickets, gift cards, newer and gently used books/cookbooks, gift baskets, etc. Contact Pat Paulin
    • Experiences such as: provide a lesson in how to setup/use your new phone or watch, a round of golf for 2 at a private Golf Club, boat ride along the shores of Lake Ontario, the list is endless. For other suggestions CLICK HERE. Contact Pat Paulin
  • Every donation must be accompanied by an Auction Donation Item Form (or, for a large print version of the form CLICK HERE). The Forms will also be distributed with the November Newsletter.
  • Forms must be filled out completely and legibly. We ask that the minimum value of each donation be $20. Minimum bid amount may be assigned upon request.
  • Makers Market and Non-perishable Items with attached Donation Item Forms may be brought to the November Meeting.
  • All Items must be display ready.
  • Gift Cards, Event Tickets & Experiences will require a display poster. Gift Cards & Tickets will be held separately for security. For sample posters CLICK HERE.
  • Before November 30th, contact Christine Marks with Makers Market and Edible donations. For all other Items, Donation Item forms can be emailed to Pat Paulin and items along with form can be brought to Club Roma, Gemini Hall, between 3-4pm on the night of the dinner.
  • Deadline for submitting Donation Item Forms is Saturday, November 30th.
  • We encourage submissions from Interest Groups.
