Dr. Ian Ellingham
MBA, PhD, PLE, FRAIC
Ian Ellingham is an architect and land economist with a background in property development, research, and writing. His academic background includes an MBA from the University of Western Ontario, a Master of Philosophy in Land Economy, and a PhD in Architectural and Urban Studies, both from the University of Cambridge.
He has written four books, and numerous articles and book chapters, including some on his special interests in the areas of heritage, decision-making, and human response to the built environments.
Currently, he is a member of the Board of the Association of Ontario Land Economists, and a faculty member of the School of Restoration Arts at Willowbank. Ian lives in St. Catharines.
Dr. Ellingham will speak about the value of heritage architecture. The presentations, at Spirit in Niagara, Small Batch Distillers, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4:00 p.m.
