Retired Military Officer
Sandra Holloway grew up in St. Catharines, and graduated from Governor Simcoe Secondary School. She joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1979 as a Medical Assistant, and advanced her career to become a Logistics Officer: Administration after being selected to attend university. Sandra graduated from the University of Toronto with a BSc Psychology 1992 and Royal Roads University with an MA Leadership and Training: Justice and Public Safety Leadership in 2007. Sandra has served our country in various capacities including working as a Logistics Officer for the Snowbirds and in Afghanistan for nine months between 2007 and 2008. She was in charge of the repatriation ceremonies in Trenton ON and then was selected to lead a new organization to care for injured and ill soldiers and the families of the fallen. Upon her retirement in 2012 she moved to Peru to work as a missionary assistant. Since returning to Canada Sandra has spent her time working for a Chiropractor, serving in the mission field in Guatemala, and serving in the St. Catharines Rotary Club in various capacities and is currently the President Designate. She leads her church Women’s Ministry and is a group leader for Bible Study Fellowship. She has two grown sons and two granddaughters.
