Sandra Bell-Lundy

Sandra Bell-Lundy is the creator of the internationally syndicated comic strip, Between Friends. Her strip has been distributed by King Features Syndicate since 1994 and appears in 175 newspapers worldwide. Sandra's comics have been collected in four books and she recently released a line of Between Friends greeting cards with NobleWorks. She has received awards from the B.C. Association of Clinical Counselors and the North American Council on Adoptable Children for special story arcs she has written. A special series of  comic strips featured her Between Friends characters to assist the Canadian Cancer Society in a campaign to promote regular mammograms in the early detection of Breast Cancer. In addition to her comic strip, Sandra periodically writes personal graphic essays. She lives in Welland with her husband, Tim, her senior-citizen golden retriever and periodically, her two university-aged children.
